As dogs reach their senior years, joint mobility may worsen, making movement like walking more painful and difficult. Double Strength R&A Joint Formula contains a unique blend of pure refined fish oils naturally high in the Omega-3 nutrients EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid) and DHA (docosahexaenoic acid), plus vitamin E, an important antioxidant. Research has indicated that increased levels of these nutrients may help maintain pain-free, supple, and mobile joints. It does not contain vitamins A or D, so the daily amount can be increased in times of need.

Daily feeding recommendations

Do not exceed the daily recommendations. Mix the following amounts daily with food using a 5ml teaspoon.

• Medium breeds (15-25kg): 5ml-7.5ml
• Large breeds (25-35kg): 7.5ml-10ml
• Very large breeds (35kg+): 10ml-15ml

Suitable for puppies over 12 weeks. When introducing the oil to your dog's diet for the first time, build up gradually to the correct daily recommendation. Use the lower amount for general maintenance and the higher rate in times of need. If feeding another Vitapet conditioner at the same time, reduce that amount by half and maintain the recommendations above. This is a blend of fish oils which may turn cloudy in severely cold weather; this is safe, and it will return to a clear liquid at normal room temperature. Regular, controlled exercise also helps keep joints healthy by improving blood flow and strengthening joints and muscles.
