Pettex Pampuss Woodbase Cat Litter is made from 100% recycled pine wood pellets, offering a lightweight, eco-friendly, and highly absorbent alternative to mineral or clay-based litters. The natural pine wood provides a fresh, aromatic scent that helps control pet odours without the need for artificial fragrances. As the pellets absorb moisture they break down into a fine sawdust that settles to the base of the tray, while dry pellets remain in place above — making it easy to sift away soiled material and extend the life of each fill. Fully biodegradable and suitable for composting, it is an excellent choice for environmentally conscious cat owners. Supplied in a generous 30-litre bag.

How To Use
Fill the litter tray to a depth of approximately 5–7cm. Remove solid waste daily. As pellets absorb moisture they break down into sawdust — sift or stir to separate spent sawdust from dry pellets above. Top up as needed and replace fully when the majority of pellets have broken down.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is this litter clumping or non-clumping?
Pettex Pampuss Woodbase is non-clumping. The wood pellets absorb moisture and break down into fine sawdust, which settles to the base of the tray. A sifting litter tray makes it easy to separate spent sawdust from dry pellets remaining above.
Can I compost used litter?
Yes — Pettex Pampuss is fully biodegradable. Remove solid waste before composting. Check local guidelines on composting pet waste, as regulations vary.
How does it compare to clay or mineral litter?
Wood-based litters are significantly lighter than clay or mineral litters, making them easier to handle and carry. They are biodegradable and compostable, unlike clay, and provide natural pine odour control without artificial fragrances. They are also typically more eco-friendly, being made from recycled materials.
