KONG Shieldz Tropics Octopus Medium

Bring a splash of tropical colour to playtime with the KONG Shieldz Tropics Octopus Medium. Its smiling orange-and-yellow head and turquoise tentacles give this character toy a distinctive look, while the sealed coating, stuffed interior and squeaker add different textures and sounds to supervised play. The existing product information also identifies a floating design for water games and an exterior that wipes clean after outings.

Size and contents

Supplied as one Medium octopus toy. The dimension image shows approximately 7 inches high × 5.25 inches wide. Choose a toy appropriate for your dog's mouth size and play style; the Medium label is not a guarantee of suitability for every medium-sized dog.

How to play

Use for supervised interactive games indoors or outdoors, following the packaging guidance. Keep sessions suited to your dog's behaviour and check the toy before and after use. For water games, choose safe conditions and stay close enough to intervene; a floating toy is not a flotation aid for your dog.

Cleaning and care

Wipe surface dirt from the coated exterior and follow the current pack's cleaning instructions. Machine-washing and dishwasher suitability have not been confirmed. Inspect the coating, seams and tentacles regularly, and remove the toy if damage exposes stuffing, the squeaker or loose pieces.

Suitability and safety

The protective coating does not make this toy indestructible. Do not assume it is suitable for powerful or persistent destructive chewers, or leave it for unsupervised chewing. Select an appropriate size, supervise play and replace if damaged. Prevent your dog from swallowing any part of the toy.
