Eukanuba Puppy Large Breed Rich in Fresh Chicken 12kg - Free P&P

Eukanuba Puppy Large Breed Rich in Fresh Chicken 12kg is a complete dry puppy food formulated for large breeds. The supplied packaging also identifies giant breeds, with size bands based on expected adult weight: Large 25–40kg and XL over 40kg. Each item supplies one 12kg bag, not a multipack.

Key benefits

• Puppy-specific nutrition: complete and balanced food for the growth stage identified on the current pack.
• Rich in fresh chicken: chicken protein supports growth; no unverified chicken percentage or single-protein claim is given.
• DHA: identified in the existing specification and front panel to support learning; it does not guarantee training results.
• Calcium: included to support normal bone development, not to prevent or treat skeletal conditions.
• Digestive support: the supplied back panel identifies prebiotic FOS, MOS and beet pulp.
• Skin and coat support: the specification identifies natural sources of omega-3 and omega-6.
• Practical supply: one 12kg bag for portion-controlled daily feeding.

Age and breed guidance

The supplied range panel identifies Puppy at 1–12 months for Large breeds and 1–14 months for XL breeds, followed by a separate Junior stage. Do not interpret this as a recommendation to keep every large or giant puppy on this Puppy recipe until adulthood. Follow the current pack and ask your vet when to move to Junior or another appropriate growth food.

Feeding guidance

Use the current Puppy Large Breed feeding chart, which relates daily portions to age and expected adult body weight. Expected adult weight is not the puppy's current weight. Weigh food, account for treats and monitor growth and body condition. Divide the daily allowance into meals appropriate to your puppy's age, following pack or veterinary guidance. Always provide fresh drinking water.

Introduce a change gradually following current packaging or veterinary advice. Consult your vet for weaning, poor growth, digestive concerns, food sensitivities or an existing medical diet. Do not add calcium or other growth supplements unless your vet recommends them.

Dental care, ingredients and storage

The existing specification identifies hexagonal kibble with DentaDefense. Dry food does not replace appropriate brushing, veterinary checks or dental treatment. Check the current bag for complete ingredients, analytical constituents, additives and energy content; no Adult, Small Breed or other recipe's figures are substituted. Store securely closed in a cool, dry place and follow the pack's best-before and storage instructions.

Frequently asked questions

How much will I receive?

One 12kg bag per item ordered.

Is this for large or giant breeds?

The supplied packaging identifies Large at an expected adult weight of 25–40kg and XL above 40kg. Check suitability for your individual puppy.

When should I change from Puppy food?

The supplied panel shows Puppy to 12 months for Large breeds and to 14 months for XL, followed by Junior. Use current pack guidance and your vet's advice rather than assuming Puppy food continues until adulthood.

How much should I feed?

Follow the current chart for age and expected adult weight. Adjust for body condition, growth and treats. No unverified gram portions are given here.

Does DHA guarantee easier training?

No. DHA is included for nutritional support; consistent training and individual development still matter.

Should I add calcium?

Not unless your vet recommends it. This is described as a complete puppy food.

Is it chicken-only or suitable for every allergy?

No single-protein or universal allergy-suitability claim is made. Check the complete current ingredients with your vet where a restricted diet is needed.
