Beaphar One Dose Worming Tablets for Puppies and Dogs (up to 6kg) 3 Tab
Beaphar One Dose Small Dog Wormer is a UK authorised veterinary medicinal product, designed to provide routine control of common roundworms, tapeworms and hookworms found in dogs. This pack contains 3 film-coated tablets, suitable for smaller dogs and puppies up to 6kg. You can accurately establish the correct dosage by weighing yourself, and repeating whilst holding your pet, on the bathroom scales. The difference is the weight of the dog. For routine treatment of puppies and adult dogs, give one tablet per 2 kg (4.4 lbs) bodyweight. Puppies should be wormed every two weeks until they are 8 weeks of age, thereafter they can be treated at monthly intervals until they are 16 weeks of age. Re-treat your puppy at 24 weeks of age, then move onto the adult dog regime. Nursing bitches should be treated at the same time and as frequently as their puppies until weaning. Adult dogs should be routinely wormed every three months. Tablets should be given whole with about one fifth of the daily food ration in the morning when the dog’s stomach is empty. The remaining food should be given in the evening. It is important to follow the instructions carefully, and not to exceed the stated dose. In the event of an overdose seek immediate veterinary advice. Store the product in its original packaging below 25°C, and always keep away from food and drink, including animal feeding stuffs. Dispose of empty packaging and any uneaten food in the household rubbish.
