Arden Grange Light Adult Fresh Chicken & Rice

Arden Grange Light Adult Fresh Chicken & Rice

A slower pace of life doesn’t mean a lesser quality of food. Arden Grange Light is a complete, super-premium dry food formulated specifically for less active, neutered or overweight adult dogs who need fewer calories without compromising on nutrition. Fresh chicken delivers lean, highly digestible protein to support and preserve healthy muscle mass while the overall calorie content is carefully reduced. L-carnitine — a key ingredient in this recipe — helps the body convert stored fat into energy more efficiently, actively supporting healthy weight management rather than simply restricting intake. Yucca extract provides antioxidant support, which is particularly beneficial for overweight dogs who are more vulnerable to oxidative stress. Every bowl delivers complete, balanced nutrition — just with less of what they don’t need. Available in 6kg, 12kg and a 2 × 12kg bulk buy.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does L-carnitine do for dogs?
L-carnitine is an amino acid derivative that plays a key role in transporting fatty acids into cells to be converted into energy. In a calorie-controlled diet, this helps the body burn stored fat more efficiently while sparing lean muscle mass — supporting a healthier body composition during weight loss.

How is this different from standard Arden Grange Adult?
Arden Grange Light has a reduced calorie content and lower oil level compared to the standard adult recipe, with the addition of L-carnitine to support fat metabolism. It contains the same quality fresh chicken protein and hypoallergenic formulation.

Is this suitable for neutered dogs?
Yes — neutered dogs typically have lower energy requirements than intact dogs and are more prone to weight gain, making a light recipe an excellent long-term dietary choice even before weight issues develop.

Can I feed this to my senior dog?
Yes — older dogs with reduced activity levels often benefit from a light recipe to prevent gradual weight gain. However, if your dog has specific senior health concerns, consult your vet for tailored advice.

What sizes are available?
Arden Grange Light Adult Fresh Chicken & Rice is available in 6kg, 12kg (with free P&P) and a 2 × 12kg bulk buy.
