  1. It is sometimes a good idea to purchase a dog crate or kennel. It is advisable to purchase one which will accommodate your puppy when they reach adulthood. This will soon become their 'home' and this will make it easier to transport your puppy when travelling.
  1. A good quality stain remover for any little accidents your puppy may have.

  1. Good quality premium pet food to get your new puppy off to the best start. There are many top on the market, from brands such as , , , , etc.
  1. Brushes and combs suited to your puppy's coat are usually a good idea. They can remove unwanted hair and improve the appearance of your puppy. You will also be able to look for fleas whilst grooming too.
  1. It is also a good idea to buy a good quality dog shampoo.
  1. Identification tags with your puppy's name, your name, telephone number and your vet's name and phone number too.
  1. Dental chews & a good quality dog toothbrush and paste.
  1. A good quality pair of nail clippers
  1. Puppy treats; again there are numerous products available.
  1. Good quality, safe chew toys to ease with teething. There are lots of 'Puppy' specific dog toys on the market.
  1. Flea, tick and parasite control products.
