Summer Events For Dog Lovers
If you love dogs and want to know about some events to go to this summer then read on. There are a huge variety of different events on offer throughout the summer for all the family. Whether you like agility, dog shows, summer fairs or flyball there will be an event that you can enjoy. Here are some fun summer canine events to attend in 2013.
International Agility Festival
This is a must see event for all agility fans. The International Agility Festival takes place between the 9th and 11th of August, right in the heat of the summer. The event is held at Rockingham Castle in Leicestershire and is hosted by the Kennel Club. It’s one of the world’s largest agility events which showcases dogs from all over the UK and around the world. Don’t miss out on seeing this spectacular show. This event is free and you can bring your dogs along provided you keep them on a lead.
Eton Park Summer Fair & Dog Show
If you enjoy summer fairs and want to see an entertaining dog show then head to Eton Park Summer Fair. This event takes place on the 24th of August and stalls cost £5. The summer fair is run in conjunction with Yew Tree Canine Society fun dog show and is held in Nottingham.
Suffolk Dog Day
Suffolk Dog Day is held on Sunday 28th July, it’s a good day out for dog lovers. You can witness lots of different dog classes such as agility and dog scurry and take part in classes and activities with your dog. There are also lots of children’s activities and lots of different stalls to explore. This event attracted almost 8000 people last year proving it’s a
popular choice on the calendar of dog events.
The Pet Show
The pet show is located in Stoneleigh Park in Warwickshire on the 20th and 21st July. The 2013 show is predicted to be the biggest indoor and outdoor pet show in the UK. The grounds cover over 21,000 metres, so there is plenty to experience. The Pet Show is for people of all different ages and offers a fantastic variety of things to see and do. It has a main area with all the key shows and performances and over 100 other attractions. It’s not just dogs at this event, you can see other animals such as birds, horses, birds of prey, fish and cats.
All About Dogs
All About Dogs is a spectacular event held on the 25th and 26th of August. There are 4 events around the country throughout the year but the summer event is held in Norfolk. At this event you can see demonstrations, agility, competitions and take part in fun dog games. It’s a great day out that is perfect for dog lovers and their families.
