Humans are going mad for wearable technology such as smart watches and fitness bracelets, now dogs can join in the fun too. This new innovative device has been named the ‘Scout 5000’ and it helps owners to keep track of their dogs activity. Owners can always keep track of their dog’s location, see what their dog is up to on the video feature and also keep an eye on their health. The collar tracks how many footsteps the dog takes which can indicate how active they are.
Think your dog might instantly destroy this smartcollar? Think again. It’s specially designed to be chew and splash resistant. It also has a GPS tracker, so you don’t have to worry about losing your dog, you will always be able to track them down. The device has WiFi connectivity and a special wide angle camera which can stream video images of what your dog is doing directly to your mobile phone.
You can also speak to your dog through the collar and give them commands or help to keep them calm when you leave. Does your dog bark too much? The Scout 5000 has a barking alert feature to let you know when your dog is barking. You can give them a command to stop barking through the built in speaker in the collar.
