Nupafeed Flex GLM (Green Lipped Mussel) joint supplement is a natural mineral feed additive for dogs containing only the highest quality, stabilised, freeze dried Green Lipped Mussel extract.

Green Lipped Mussel (Perna Canaliculus) is a shell fish, sourced in New Zealand, which is renowned for its soothing effect on joints, helping to maintain mobility and comfort.

This complex natural product contains high levels of long chain DHA and EPA omega-3 which are more effective than the omega-3 found in plants. It also contains two compounds which have been uniquely identified in Green Lipped Mussel; a further, more active omega-3 called ETA and a form of phosphorylated glycogen.

In addition to these soothing nutrients, Green Lipped Mussel also contains glycosaminoglycans (vital building blocks for cartilage), amino acids and trace minerals.

In addition to Green Lipped Mussel, Flex GLM contains the favoured anti-oxidants, Selenium, Vitamin E and Vitamin C. These assist with cell repair and work to ‘mop up’ free radicals which are produced in greater quantities during exercise.

Finally we add zinc to support healing and repair, and a small amount of MAH® magnesium. Magnesium is critical for the proper utilisation of calcium. This supports bone strength and helps to prevent calcium pooling in soft tissue; important for both aging and young developing joints.
