This 20kg bag of Farmgate Layers Pellets is a highly palatable feed specially formulated to meet the needs of poultry. It contains optimum levels of calcium, phosphorus and Vitamin D3 for bone strength, good shell quality, rich yellow yolk colour, high egg numbers and excellent egg size. The feed is suitable for flocks of mixed ages under any management system, and can be fed up to four weeks before onset of lay, throughout the laying period until depletion. Feeding guidelines suggest 1kg/bird/week on an ad-lib basis, and the daily feed intake will vary according to season, housing standard, weather conditions and the breed of bird being fed. Fresh feed and clean water should be replenished daily, and the feed should be kept in a cool, dry place. Utensils and hoppers should be kept clean for an optimal feeding experience.
