At Time for Paws we would like to introduce you to Kong Dog Toys! These are not just any toys. They are Kongs! Tough, practical, affordable and great fun, these are definitely the toys that your dog would choose if they could talk!

Most dogs like to chew and might occasionally tuck into something that you would rather they left alone. Whilst losing the odd pair of slippers is no big deal, it can be very stressful if your dog’s behaviour becomes really destructive. To make matters worse, if your dog turns its attention to the wrong items, they could suffer from dental issues as a result. Dogs need fun toys which are safe and durable and that is exactly what they get with Kong.

Kong’s founder Joe Markham owned a destructive dog. Fritz was given to chewing harmful items and his teeth were wearing down. Then Joe had something of an epiphany when he gave Fritz an old piece of rubber which had been part of a bus’s suspension. The dog loved the bouncy rubber and it was really tough. Fritz could chew away without destroying the toy or his own teeth.

Joe Markham was inspired to create dog toys from chewable rubber. He thought that the toys were a great innovation and it soon became clear that other dog owners did too. The toys bounce, they feel soft in dogs’ mouths and they are extremely tough. They are great for playing fetch and can be stuffed with treats. What more could you ask for?
